The 5 workflows of product feature development

A feature idea goes through many phases before it becomes a feature that will eventually be added or update on your product.  I’ll cover more on this on a future blog, but for the purpose of this blog we’ll assume that the Feature as a green light but as yet not actual work has been done on the final feature scope or design.

There are five workflows stages that a feature goes through and we’re planning to manage then complete workflow on JIRA.  There are five workflows

  1. Concept
  2. Design
  3. Preperation
  4. Planning
  5. Build (And Test)

I have gone in to detail on how I got to each workflow, just click the link below each list to understand my thinking.
