Judgement Sundays is well known for its massive parties in Ibiza at the legendary Eden and with 15 planned for this season, 2007 is set to be their biggest and best yet. What better way to kick off the proceeding by bringing Judgement Sunday’s to London at the legendary Heaven. Judge Jules invited some top promotions, chucked in some lasers smoke machines and speakers, and invited you all to enjoy a night of pure unadulterated awesome music. Here is how it went.
I spent far too much time in the Fundamental room which started, hyped up, maintained and finished on the most ELECTRIC vibe possible. Davey-C began the proceedings by playing some excellent warm up tunes until the room started to fill at about 10:30, he upped the pace by playing some damn right dirty underground house ready for Damo Walsh. He continued to build the mood, enticing more and more dancing feet to the floor, building up the crowd with some funkier beats ready for the hand over to Lizzie Curious. Lizzie complimented the lads fantastic build up by showing her fab talents and sucking in the remaining party goers who hadn’t yet made it to the floor. Her well chosen tunes, teasing mixing style and phenomenal energy meant there was no excuse not to dance. It was now time to introduce the first FUndamental resident for the night, Chris Cee. Chris has an amazing Dj style which enables him to appeal to his whole audience.

"Fundamental’s style is all about playing the right music at the right time, mixing up the sub genres in such a way that it keeps the crowd stuck firmly to the dance floor waiting to hear the next track, will it be new and uber cool, will it be a big current anthem or if you’re lucky it might be a classic track, you know one of those that you go ‘Wow haven’t heard this monster for ages’ and then just let yourself go"(Chris Cee)
FUndamental fans certainly returned the favour by partying as hard as they possibly could. Come 2am the room could not have fitted many more people in and the vibe was going off big time. With every twist and turn Chris surprised, enthralled and electrified every single person in the FUndamntal place, including the security! His crowning moment was when he dropped 9PM til I come (breaks mix). The roar of cheers of extreme approval could have done battle with the immense speakers pumping out the club classic. Everyone was on a high and it was now time to hand over to the second FUndamental resident for the night, Alan Banks. Alan has a fantastic talent of introducing the right amount of trance into his sets to compliment the room and take the vibe to the limits higher and more intense than the previous dj's. In direct competition with Judge Jules in the main arena, people were curious to see how the Judge would fair. However surprise surprise after 20 minutes they were back in the FUndamental room knowing that Alan Banks was giving his audience something bigger and better than pure trance, As he mixed up his filthy beats with an injection of arm raising house, and the vibe was fully restored.
“Bit of a bugger being on the same time as Jules as the room emptied slightly as people went to go and see the headline act but thats the way things go.After about 20mins the room started to pick up again and then never stopped again which was all good”(Alan Banks)

The vibe didn’t stop again all night, Alan dropped massive tune after massive tune and the crowd were loving it, as he intertwined more trance within his style. The room had certainly reached new levels, as the word had spread of Alan's set more people appeared in the FU room from the main arena. It was time to hand over the decks to one Adam Symbiosis. Not only do you enjoy Adam's sets because of the music he plays and the way he plays it, but because of his immense energy, motivation and determination to get a crowd enjoying what he is doing. True to form this is exactly what the mighty Symbiosis did! Building on the Trance that Alan had stamped into the FU tunes, Adam forged beats breaks and house into the equation which resulted in an impressed and screaming crowd. Arms waving, people cheering and smiling faces amongst the still very strong dancers was an absolutely amazing sight to see at 5 in the morning, the final track having been spun, and the CD was ejected. Unsurprisingly the audience, in synch, chanted for one more and it would have just been rude not to. Adam fired up the decks once again, accompanied by Alan Banks until management pulled the plug. Still people wanted more and the prospect of the main arena, which had another hour left, just wasn't what they wanted. A memorable night had by all.
“All the DJs played out of their skin right from the word go. The room was rocking and people were smiling all night. yet again another signature of a FUndamental night - smiling faces”(Alan Banks)

I was able to pull myself away from the FU room to get a taste of what the other 4 rooms had to offer, first off was Dusted. Describing itself by saying "its all about the music" and all about the music it was on Sunday night. The line up was phenomenal with the likes of Hoxton Whores and even Mr Jules stopping by to raise the roof with his long awaited House set. The buzz in the room was certainly terrific. Dusted have their opening party at Eden on the 4th June, we shall await to see if it tops their performance at Judgement Sundays.
Summit has always had the right idea about how to run a promotion, which is shown in their fantastic nights. Their ethos is "Simply put, our funky and electro room isn't just filled with Dj's to pass the time". On Sunday the Summit room was buzzing from start to finish with Dj's providing first class entertainment. It is true to say that their passion of Hard dance glimmers on the surface of their funky tunes, which was constantly keeping the room dancing .A good night had by all. The FUsic team are def fans of their Summit on Sunday promotions where the proceeds are donated to a charity recommended by one of their party goers.

Friendz is well renowned for its Trance music, and offered a great alternative to the Trance being played in the main arena. Slightly less harder than that of the Judge, the room was pleased to welcome anyone and everyone and had an exciting feeling all night. People were dancing hard, having a wicked time and really enjoying the sometimes very alternative forms of trance and house the exceptionally good Dj's were playing. The residence of Friendz have a clear concise policy that they stick to and which certainly works "The regulars at Friendz are there for one thing ... Quality trance music!! The music policy is simple ... It has to be uplifting!!"
I ventured into the main arena on many occasions and it went down an absolute storm. The trance was on absolute top form with fresh new beats and dirty old style remixes. Everyone waited with baited breath to see if Judge Jules would produce the goods he promised, and that he did. The visuals, lasers and smoke effects added immense amounts of atmosphere to the room. The consensus seems to be that Marco V played one of his best sets ever, raising Trance Djing to an entirely new level. This, I hear you cry, is going to be a very hard act to follow when Judgement Sundays opens in Ibiza on the 10th June. Make sure you check out Eden Sundays on your Ibiza adventures this summer.
